On September 6, 2011, Chambers was called up to play for the St. Louis Cardinals. On September 16, 2011, during his second major league at-bat, Chambers earned his first Major League hit which brought in the go ahead runs for the Cardinals to beat the Phillies. Chambers, who had been brought in as a defensive sub for Lance Berkman attempted an inside the park home run, but was tagged out at the plate. Nevertheless, he was credited with a triple off of Michael Schwimer who had walked Albert Pujols in order to get to Chambers.

On October 28, 2011 Adron Chambers was added to the St. Louis Cardinals World Series roster as an emergency replacement for the injured Matt Holliday before game 7 of the 2011 World Series against the Texas Rangers. [1]

After splitting time between St. Louis and the team's minor league system in 2012 and 2013, Chambers was out-righted off the Cardinals roster on November 5, 2013 and elected free agency. In 2013, he had four hits in 26 at bats with St. Louis. He was kept on the Cardinals active roster through the 2013 National League Divisional Series and the 2013 National League Championship Series.

Adron Chambers joined the technical staff of the St Anthony's Baseball Academy in 2021, specializing as the Academy's Hitting and Outfield Coordinator.

Technical Consultant

David Genest is from France and is bilingual.  His baseball pitching career took place mostly in France, in a small club in Savoie whose human values compensated for the lack of means. However, his performances earned him an invitation to join the baseball program at Pomona College in California (1993),  a place in a European selection for the Charlie Rose Baseball tour in California and being among the first Frenchmen to try out professionally (Reno Chuckars 1996).

The desire to coach quickly became obvious. In 1994, David obtained his professional coaching certificate from the French Ministry of Sports. This diploma validates his knowledge in biology, physiology, psychology, pedagogy and baseball-softball technique.

In addition to regional podiums with his Savoyard teams, he led his U15 team to the quarter finals of the French baseball championship. In 1999, he led the women's softball team of the city of Lyon to the title of Vice-Champion of France. At that time he was the only French member of the American Baseball Coach Association.

His involvement allowed him to become an assistant recruiter for the Atlanta Braves for several years.

Since his first trip to the USA in 1993, David has crossed the Atlantic several times to coach in different structures, learning new techniques along the way. He has coached for the Montreal Titans, for the Derek Aucoin tour and more recently for the Central Ontario Reds.

Immigrating to Ontario with his family since 2018, David is a NCCP regional competition coach level and has specialized over the years in biomechanics and motor preference approach.

In 2020, he joined the Angels staff as a Technical Consultant.
